World CynoSport Rally & Trials
WCRL is a fun activity for handlers and dogs and has unlimited potential for teams. When you can successfully perform a Level 1 Rally course, and negotiate a trial day and all activities around a trial, then you can feel confident about being out and about with your dog in most environments. This workshop gives novice handlers the information and skills necessary to successfully enter a trial, to compete, and to navigate a trial. We will cover rules, performance guidelines, scoring, and exercise execution with an emphasis on proactive communication, strategies for trial warm-up, and ring prep. Skills will be taught in how to recover lost attention and how to create a reinforced connection between dog and handler. Working teams will work a course with coaching.
